Lake  association

The Summit Lake Lake Association was founded in July of 2008 for the purpose of preserving, protecting, and enhancing the water quality, fishery, boating, safety, and aesthetic value of Summit Lake as a public recreational facility for today and future generations.
The association has been active in various projects such as securing a Wisconsin DNR grant to fund a comprehensive management plan for Summit Lake; water clarity collection as part of the WDNR Citizens Lake Monitoring Network; participation in the Langlade County Waterways Association and the Wisconsin Association of Lakes; fish stocking, buoy placement, and invasive species monitoring.
